Intro to Stained Glass
5 Weeks - 2 Hour Sessions - We will start, and most likely finish a small copper foil technique window (less than 1 square foot and about 20 pieces) bring your own design or we will have some to choose from. First week is explanation of various tools and glass cutting practice. Your design will be your homework, and the next four weeks will be devoted to your small window. Clear glass and some supplies are included, colors and other extra materials will be available for purchase. There is a bonus week, to make up a missed class or just to help people finish their project or plan their next one.

Intro Bead Making
3 Weeks - 2 hour sessions - - A Great start to learning the basics of torching, We will cover basic beads, decoration, Clear Encasement , shaping and preparation of stringers and twisties. Basic materials provided, Specialty materials available for sale - Limit 4 students - $85.00 - Student will need to come to a following open torch time to clean their last batch of beads if the are using Pavliscak Studios Bead mandrils. Fee includes basic materials, (glass rods, 1 black,1 white, 1 clear), others are available for purchase.
Intro to Marbles
For people with a little bit of torchworking experience - 5 hours - We will go over basic gathers, cover the preparation and use of specialty materials (Frit, Stringer, Cane, Murrine, gold and silver leaf, and dichroic) There will be a break for lunch. Most will complete 4-5 Marbles over the day - Students must provide their own glass. Marbles can be picked up the next day or shipped - Limit 4 people - $100.00 - We usually break for lunch at the local pub
Glass needed for the intro course - 104 coe glass only at this time, bring your own or purchase before class begins;
Clear rod x 3, color rod x 3, 10-12mm rod x 1, any marble or glass tools you already have or are familiar with
Make a Marble Workshop
You will design and make a glass marble with the assistance of George Pavliscak. All materials included, no experience neccessary. George will make sure your marble comes out nicely. Marbles need time to anneal and can be picked up the following day. This will be a large furnace dipped marble as oppoesed to the small marbles I start intro marble students making. Great for a special gift or just to get the experience of working glass. Please call for a time slot (approx 30 minutes per person per marble) - - $45.00 - There will be snacks and beverages and its a great idea to come and view the process for an hour or so before your time slot, so you can see a few marbles being made before its your turn.
Open Torch
- Studio Time For people who have already completed a class or two at Pavliscak studios - This is open torch time with a propane/oxygen torch, workspace and access to tools and annealer. No Instruction or materials included. please call for open torch at least one day in advance - - $18.00/Hour or $45 for any 3 hour Session (this is for use of a Nortel Minor Burner and annealer)
Classes open to Adults only, all participants must sign liability waiver
Intro courses may be repeated as often as you like - for more advamced one on one time with George, watch for advanced classes or call or email to work out scheduling.
One on one training time with George is $350/day (8 Hours) or $45/hour
Glass needs time to anneal, so any hot glass made during class will be available for pickup the next day, or can be shipped for $4.50
