For those of you anxiously waiting for the tournament, here is some news of the event.
The Next tournament is tentatively scheduled for June 18th or 25th in 2005
The July 19th 2004 Tournament was a great time, Congrats to returning Champion Joe Kremer the only person to ever Repeat the champion status, 3 time spockmaster Gretchen Ede takes it away again, and it causes great rivalries amongst the players. There were a total of 18 games played in the tournament, and at the busiest time of the tournament we had 5 games going on at a time
April 20th 2004 - Invites are mailed and distibuted
The Next Tournament is June 19th, 2004 - Mark your Calenders Now
The Tournament was held on June 21st, 2003 - Our biggest ever - Congratulations to Pat Sutton our new Grand Champion, There were 4 games going on at all time and we could have used another 2 or 3 sets of bocce balls, 19 games were played.
April 10th,2003 invites are mailed - some continue to trickle out after that Date
June 22nd, 2002 - The courts are mowed and the tournament was a huge success. There were 16 games held in tournament play, with 3-4 games going on at most times
April 1-10th,2002 - Invites are mailed
June 23rd, 2001 - The Day and tournament were both splendid, with cooperative weather and a good showing. We had 3-5 games going for most of the schedualed tournament, with 13 games total played in competition. - Congratulations to the new Grand Champion Joe Kremer of Madison Wisconsin
May 25, 2001 - We will be adding some new awards due to the larger guestlist, and will be looking for some Bocce Officials to judge the event, we are also looking for a server/bartender for the day.
May 1st - May 15th , 2001 -Invite to Bocce Tournament mailed
July, 2000 - We are planning some improvements for this years tournament - The award ceremony will be held a little earlier as many we tired from all the sun and hard competition of the day. The Lab will be serving with a little more space and variety for the upcoming tournament, Both in Food and Libation. The Glass Studio will be open for viewing as it was last year, with dart boards and other activities for those taking Bocce breaks.
June 25th 2000 - The Pavliscak 2nd Invitational Bocce Tournament is held - Congratulations to our new Grand Champion Anthony Miller of Madison WI.
June 23, 2000 - The courts are marked and mowed for the tournament
May 12, 2000 - Invites mailed to the 2nd Invitational.
